Intro to Ski Touring
Transition from a resort skier to a Backcountry skier in a day. Equipment basics, travel tips, movement skills. We will take you to that perfect slope to make your day a memorable one.
Avalanche Skills Training
Companion rescue, snowpack test , snow profiles, and terrain management the baseline for training. Intro or refresher for Avalanche Canada’s Avalanche Skills Training 1 or 2.
Crevasse Rescue
Rope systems are complicated but it doesn’t need to be. Let us show you simple effective anchors, belays and hauling systems. Beginner to advanced custom courses for what you need.
Glacier Travel
Learn the ropes! Proper gear, basic knots, roping up and where it’s appropriate. Proper route selection and travel. Beginner to Advanced custom course for what you need.
Ski Mountaineering
Combining the best of the best, skiing and climbing. Classic days spent in the high alpine generally in the late winter/spring. Glacier travel, bootpacking, rappelling.
