Cancellation before your trip:
From these individuals, we expect transparency, clear communication and we will work together to create the best scenario as last-minute cancellations are awkward for our small company size
As a first step, we will look for a replacement spot that is approved by both the group and Wildroutes. We recommend purchasing trip insurance. As an alternative step, the group can split the cost of that person as most things like wages and lodge are fixed costs however things like food cost and Heli cost can often be subsidized.
If a guide or staff member is unwell and unable to make a trip, Wildroutes will do it’s best to find a suitable replacement guide or staff member.
Wildroutes does not cancel trips due to weather or Avalanche conditions. We are professionals and will adjust the day accordingly to suit the conditions.
Please contact us if there are any questions or concerns.
