Booking & Cancellation Policy

1 Year or less to trip:

You have read and filled out the waiver.  You have read and understand the Booking and Cancellation Policy.

A non-refundable payment of 50% is due at the time of the booking to reserve your trip.

90 days before the trip:

Full payment is due 90 days before the trip or you will forfeit your booking and your payments. 

Recommended trip insurance has also been purchased. See link on left.

less than 90 days to your trip:
If a group or individual cancels or fails to make the final payment within 90 days, the booking will be forfeited. A refund less the inital non-refundable payment can only be issued if the booking is transferred. 
 
A replacement for your booking must be approved by Wildroutes.  If a suitable replacement has been found you will receive a refund less your initial non-refundable payment.
 
BOOKING OVER 1 YEAR IN ADVANCED:
For lodge trips over 1 year in advanced a non-refundable payment of $3000 is due.  

Cancellation and delays:
Wildroutes does not cancel trips due to weather, water levels, or Avalanche conditions.  As professionals, we will adjust the trip accordingly to suit the conditions. 
 
Weather delays and road closures are not covered and additional costs are the responsibility of the individual.
